| I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. In this book we meet Ava James and Jude "JJ" Jacobs. Back in high school Ava and Jude were a hot and heavy couple. That all changed the night her brother died while trying to perform a trick on his bike. JJ went on to make lots of money in the sport. Ava and her parents blamed JJ for her brother dying that night. When JJ offers her a job she wonders can she get over the old feelings or will it destroy more than a job opportunity? JJ has never forgotten Ava or the feelings that he has had only for her. So when he gets the invitation to their friends wedding he is going to use it to his fullest advantage. However the more time he spends with her the more he sees how far her hurt goes. Can he win back his first love and even if he gets her can they fight the demons of the past or will they lose it all to them? This is a great story about first love and first loss. There are many ups and downs in this story that I want to tell you all about but don't want to ruin the story for anyone else. I will say this book will grab hold of you from the first word and not let go till the very end. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone. |
