Review of Resisting my Submission by Jenna Jacob

I received this book with the understanding that I could give a honest and voluntary review.

In this book we get Mistress Sammie's story and we are introduced to Maximus Gunn. Max is a friend of Dylan's and is supposed to meet him, Nick, and Savannah at Club Genesis that night but they were in a car accident. Luckily no one is hurt but Dylan asks Sammie to introduce Max to some of the other Dom's in the club for him until they can make it in. Sammie takes one look at Max and thinks he is gorgeous but to bad he is also a dominate. Sammie refused to kneel to anyone and makes sure Max is well aware of this fact from the get go. What will happen though when demons from Sammie's past come back to haunt her present? Will she be changed by them or will they bury her for good this time?

Max sees something in Sammie from the get go little did he know with his pushing on her what would happen. As a good Dom he knows that you must always look out for the welfare of others and the way he keeps pushing her buttons he know something is happening to her. Max however is unsure if what is happening is a good thing or a bad one. Only time will tell exactly what will happen between these two. What happens though when he pushes to hard to fast will he break the woman he is finding it hard to forget or will he win the ultimate prize?

This book will definitely push some boundaries but it is an amazing ride. You will find yourself rooting for the ultimate release for both of these characters at one point or another in this book. All the old friends are back to make appearances in this book. There are so many things I want to say but am worried I will ruin the secrets contained within. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I highly recommend this book.
