Review of Off Limits by Lola Darling

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Max Davis & Chloe MacIntyre. Max and Chloe work in the same law firm. Chloe is a workaholic in every sense of the word. When this book opens up we find that Chloe is complaining about Max to her best friend on the phone. During this conversation her best friend asks if they are still on for their vacation. One that Chloe has completely forgotten which makes her friend feel like she is just an after thought in her life. So after a blow-up with her best friend she isn't sure what will happen in her life next. The one thing she is not prepared for is being taken off a case she has been working on for months to be put on a higher profile one that she has to work with Max on. Can she lean to work with this man or will her career blow-up in her face for a good time with the office manwhore?

Max knows what the rumor mill says that he is but he does nothing to stop it. Why you might ask? Why should he women hit on him all the time he does his job without question and he has outside interests that the company knows nothing about and leaves him alone regarding them. But when he sees Chloe in the courtroom for the first time he knows he wants to know more about this woman. But she blows him off and he doesn't know why and isn't sure he wants to find out. When they are both put on this case though he knows there will be no getting away from the one woman who can turn him on with just a look. Will he finally get a shot at the woman he has lusted after for years or will his reputation kill any chances before he even gets off the ground?

This is a great story about 2 people who are not only trying to work together on a case but fight the mutual attraction bouncing between them. It does have it's ups and downs like will they won't they. There are also some amazing dynamics to this story that I really want to tell you about but I don't want to ruin the surprise of them in the story-line. I will say this is an amazing story that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it.
