Review of Commander Bear by Scarlett Grove

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Rollo Morris and Zoe Bright. Zoe is Corey's (Geek Bear) sister. Cory isn't sure why his sister is in town and Zoe knows she can't tell him. They have not always had the best relationship but a part of her is here to change that. The problem with that is they can't seem to speak to one another without getting on the others nerves. Zoe while trying to figure herself out got in with a bad crowd that has lead her to do bad things. To get away from this crowd she had to do one last job. What she didn't plan on was finding her mate, and she is sure this isn't the right time. Can she find a way to have a mate and fix what is going on with her life before it becomes to late?

Rollo is the chief of police for fate mountain. So when he is on the site of a robbery he smells something he has been looking for all his life. The scent of his mate but he doesn't understand why it is at a crime scene. The more he learns about this case the more he realizes that she is involved. The thing he can't figure out is why as his mate she wouldn't turn to him for help. The more he tries to help her the more it feels like she is pulling away. How can he protect his mate and prove to her that he is the protector that she needs?

This book shows us that even though you've learned to be tough you don't always have to go it alone. This book shows us that love can help heal many old wounds. It can be read as a stand alone but I would recommend you reading the other books that lead up to this book just to understand some of the references. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
