Review of Stick Shifter by Moxie North

I received this book as an ARC for an hones review.

In this book we meet William Kline and Delaney Jane Owens. Will is a manager of a casino in Las Vegas so when he gets time off it is precious. Not only for him but for his cat as well, oh ya will is a cougar shifter. Will loves his job and finds it to be an honor to manage the family business but his cat needs time to run and do what he wants for a change. So when will has car trouble on this trip both he and his inner cat are thoroughly disappointed. Will hopes that the local mechanic can help him out because the last thing he wants to do right now is go home. Also Will needs a break from his inner cat constantly bugging him to find their mate. No matter where he goes or how hard he looks so far there has been no sign. Will wonders if he is destined to always be alone.

Delaney Jane (D.J.) is always been one of the guys. All she wants is the right guy to see her though and her small town that isn't anyone she has found. So when this tall drink of water comes in she can't hardly believe her eyes. She also doesn't understand how she can feel so attracted to someone so quickly. D.J. knows there is something different about this guy and she is willing to do anything and everything to find out what it is. The only thing holding her back is the fact that she knows this is a short term thing. What happens when she learns that this isn't just a short term hook-up is she still willing to go all in or will her insecurities get the better of her?

This is an amazing book that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. This is one of those books where you know it is a shifter book but you never know when or how it will be revealed. These two characters will have you seeing a little bit of people you might already know in them and it will help you to connect with them on a whole new level. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
