Review of The Alpha Warlocks' Own by Auriella Skye

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book is part of a set but can be read as a stand alone.

In this book we meet Carmen Brixton and twin warrior's Ryan and Royce Durant. After the murder of their parents during their senior year of high school the boys are shipped off to live with their uncle who becomes the master of fire upon their fathers death. The boys both know there is something more to their parents murder but they are dealing with it differently. Ryan is trying to live life to the fullest and is determined to find their third. Royce knows that he won't be worth anything to anyone else unless he figures out who really killed their parents. The one thing the brother remember is the way they both remember Carmen.

Carmen remembers the brothers as well but figures their time has past. The other reason she is trying to put them out of her mind is due to the way Royce gave her the cold shoulder one day but never explained what she had done to deserve that treatment. Also a few days later Ryan kisses her out of the blue gives her this cryptic message, which she doesn't understand. A few days later  Royce tries to talk to her about it but her fear keeps her from talking to him and when his parents die she figures she has missed her chance. Little did she know what was really going on with the brothers.

What neither realizes is that both the brothers and Carmen are sneaking into the Firewick Festival. This is a place where witches and warlocks go to find their potential mates. The only problem with this is you must be invited by the council which none of the are. Carmen's way of sneaking in is with a spell that only her intended can see her but she will be invisible to all others. So when the brothers see her she isn't sure if she is their intended or if the spell has warn off. All she knows is she is highly confused by them again. Ryan knows he needs to get his brother to live again and when they see Carmen again he believes this is destine that they are finding her at this time. Royce not so much, but even Royce can see the need to make sure their intended doesn't slip through their fingers a second time. Now all they have to do is convince her.

This book has many twist and turns you will find the couples from the first two books are back. This time they are all trying to find out what is happening to their family. The things they learn in this book will answer some questions but bring about others. This book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would recommend it but would also recommend reading the first two just so some of the references make sense.
