Review of Game Changing Drive by Zach Jenkins

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Jimmy and Ryan. Jimmy and Ryan meet in college where they are both on the same football team Ryan is the Quarterback and Jimmy is one of the linebackers. One night they both acknowledge that they are in fact gay and want to be together. The problem they have though is they want to be together without anyone knowing. That night Ryan's roommate comes home unexpectedly and nearly catch's them so from that point on they see each other strictly as team mates but both longing for more. 10 years later they get their first chance to see each other again. Ryan is an NFL quarterback and Jimmy is a college linebacker coach (well a coach looking for a new job). Where does this leave the guys right back where they were in college with wanting one another but thinking they need to hide who they really are still. Can they make it work now that they are adults or will the fight to be together at all cost just be to much.

This was one of my first M/M romance books and I must say this author is amazing. This story isn't about gender it is about the love story between these two men and what they will do to either be together or let others dictate how they will live their lives. I liked how they author shows how each of the characters is feeling and why they make the choices they do. I would recommend it you will not be sorry.
