Bear his Love by Scarlett Grove

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Ginger and Brock. When the story opens Ginger has come to Alaska to follow her dying father's last wish. She is to collect something from his cabin up in the Alaskan back-country. She has very little money and isn't sure how she is going to get there but knows she has to do this last thing for a man who gave her everything. Ginger and her father were all she had and when he got cancer she gave up her life to take care of him. Now with the last hope before she looses everything she must find her father's cabin. While contemplating how to find someone to help her with this she runs into Babs Bula who is a shifter matchmaker. Ginger isn't sure what to make of her but hopes all of her information is correct.

When the story opens for Brock he is just being named alpha of his bear clan. He has know this was coming for awhile now but isn't sure what he wants to do now that it's time. Also now everyone is on his case to find a mate which is another thing he isn't actively seeking. That all changes the minute he meets Ginger. He had heard about bears going crazy to get to their fated mate but he himself had never experienced this but one look, one smell and his bear is read to tear him apart to get to her. He knows she is human and has to tread more carefully plus he needs to decide what he want before going after her.

This is an amazing story about two people who are very cautious about who they open up to but find sometimes fate drops just the right person at just the right time. I liked in this book unlike other shifter books I have read that shifters aren't a secret they are out in the open. Of course they explain when they first came out there were problems but since then they are highly accepted. This is an amazing book about love, healing and opening up to just the right person. I would highly recommend this book it has the perfect blend of intrigue, romance, and healing that comes with life being rough around the edges.
