Review of Reapers Fall by Joanna Wylde

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

Holy cow is this book good. We finally get the story of Painter and Melanie. For those of you who don't know Melanie is the semi-adopted daughter of London (Lonnie) which you met in Reaper's Stand. Well Melanie is all grown up and has been writing Painter while he was in prison, which you also know why from Reaper's Stand. During this time they developed quite the friendship but it was safe for them both. Once Painter gets out he doesn't have that distance barrier between them and Melanie doesn't know what she did wrong. In a short amount of time though Painter realizes what Melanie is to him and knows he has to get his woman back. The problem is Melanie is to stubborn for her own good. Melanie has decided that the MC is bad and the cause of all the problems between herself and Painter. The problem is when she gets in these moods she forgets to look at all the good they have done for her as well.

Painter knows that he has made a lot of mistakes with Melanie but he also knows that he loves her and when you love someone sometimes you just gotta fight for it. Fighting with them sometimes is just as much fun but at the end of the day he wants his girls and he will do anything to get them. This includes all of Melanie's ridiculous tests to make him prove something that only she knows. Painter knows it will take a lot to get his girl back but if he can be with his family full time he will do anything. Painter accepts his mistakes and vows that he will work harder to make this up to her.

In this book you find love, acceptance, and a strong spirit that will not let go. I thought this book was amazing we find Painter really growing up and showing that he can learn from past mistakes. We also find Melanie really dealing with her past so that she can fight for the future that she really wants. The Reaper's are back in full force and many of them will have you laughing out loud in this book. I would highly recommend it.
