Review of Storm by Jo Rave

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. I will start this out by saying I have yet to find this author put out a bad book and this one is no exception.

In this book we meet Storm and Raylin. Raylin is on the run from the mob who believe according to her brother and father have the two million dollars that they borrowed from them. Raylin never had the money but knows if they catch her they want more than money from her. She is carrying more secrets than the one of her family but who can she trust. She is always more worried about others more than herself in fact when she thought the mob figured out who she was she ran from her home with her roommate Maggie (girlfriend of Rafe from the men of ink series) just to protect her. She ends up in Boca and breaks into a home that looks very run down. On her first day there she sees a very attractive man working on a fence she can't help but stare but draws up short on letting him catch her. Ray is sure that no one will want her for her so when she does finally meet Storm she is leery of his intentions.

Storm has his own secrets like the first being his real name. He is not sure what to make of this woman he just met but his feelings for her are so sudden and so possessive he knows he can't let her go. Storm also knows that she is lying to him for two reasons first she is an open book and can't lie to save her life, second he knows the place she claims to be house sitting has been sold and the old owners are suppose to come and remove their stuff soon. In the short time they spend together Storm knows that he has to find a way to keep this woman for always not just for a short time, but will she leave him when she finds out he is keeping secrets as well?

This is an amazing book about love, acceptance, and fighting for what you want. I thought this book is amazing and keeps you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. This is the fist book in at least a three part series. I believe that you will be able to read them all on their own but you should really read this story to understand who all of the main players will be in this series. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Also after the author notes look for a short story about the first time Maggie and Ray get to see each other. Even if you haven't read Maggie's and Rafe's story this will have you smiling.
