Review of I am the Alpha by AJ Downey

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

I have not read anything from this author before receiving this book but boy will I be looking for more from her. This book is thought provoking, shows you how you should never just a person but get to know them first, it also shows us that we are worth more than we think.

In this book we meet William and Chloe. When these two meet William is still angry over the murder of his father and is determined to go with the old adage an eye for an eye. However when William kidnaps Chloe and takes her on this wild road trip he finds there is more the to daughter of the man he knows murdered his father.

Chloe is just going through life trying to please her father while trying to balance her own wants. One night after going out for a night of celebration Chloe finds a stranger in her room. No matter how hard she tries to fight he is stronger and faster than her. The journey they seem to be on shows Chloe that everything she thought she knew about her father and her own life was just an illusion.

There are many twists and turns on this journey for William and Chloe not only as individuals but as a potential couple as well. This book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end you will have trouble putting it down to get anything else done.
