Review of Forsaken by Lisa Renee Jones

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book is not a stand alone and should be read in order with the other books.

In this book we meet Chad and Gia. At the end of the second book we find out that Chad is indeed alive, not well though because he did in-fact get captured. In this book we are taken even farther down the rabbit hole where you really aren't sure who are the good guys and how are the bod ones. We really feel Chad's paranoia in this book he has been living with guilt and on the run for so long he doesn't know how to accept anything from anyone but the one he protects Amy. In this book we find out what really brought Amy to Denver and what role Chad has had in her life all these years. When Chad escapes with the help of Gia we find out what lengths he will go to ensure that those he loves are protected at all cost.

Gia is holding secrets that she hasn't told anyone and if she can she never will. However to get information from Chad that is important to each of them she will have to give some and open up to him. In this book we find that Gia is a woman that can hold her own against Chad and those that are after her.

The question for these two is when they learn each others secrets will it bring them together or drive them farther apart. This is an amazing book that will have these two on the run and if they are luck they will find some real allies in the process.

I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It will have you hooked till the very end.
