Reveiw of Illusive by Nina Levine

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we get to find out more about Griff and we meet Sophia. In this story we learn why Griff is so quite and how he came to be with Storm. We also learn about all of the infighting since the death of Marcus and what it is doing to not only Scott but Griff as well. Griff is a private man but in this book he learns where his real family lies and what he will do for them. Griff is given the gift of a woman who not only sees him for the bad-ass he is but also the side that wants a family of his own one day. However in this quest Griff got burned really bad by a woman and is now leery of all woman and figures the one and done method is all he is after. That is until he see a woman one night that have him wanting to know more about her.

Sophia hasn't had a life filled with love and flowers she has had a hard time. 6 years only Sophia found a piece of her family that she had never known existed in a sister named Megan. Sophia has always wanted to love and be loved and if she can have a family to call her own that would be the icing on the cake. However finding that love has left some scars that have her looking for the real thing or nothing at all. So when Sophia meets Griff one night she learns he has his one and done method is all he is after and she is looking for the real thing.

The question then is asked can two people who have been hurt in the past really find the future they are looking for in each other? As well as with all the storms (no pun intended) brewing in the club can Griff and Sofia find a way to balance a possible future both inside and outside the club?

This book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. It is a stand alone but I would recommend reading the other books in this series to make some of the references make sense because they occur in other books. There is so many things that happen in this book that I want to tell you about but as a reader I want to find them out on my own not have someone tell me about it and be looking for it and miss other great parts in a story. Pick up your copy today you will not be disappointed.
