Review of Delicious Deception by Tami Lund

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book can be read as a stand alone, you do not need to read the first two to understand all of the players in this book.

In this book we meet Emily Kate and Connor. In the beginning of this book we find Connor running from someone in a casino. We don't know why but as the story unfolds you will. While on this run Connor realizes he is getting hungry and stops at this bayou restaurant, which will change his life in ways he never knew.

Emily Kate is an artist that inherited a restaurant from her grandfather when he passed. All she really wants to do is paint but that is not in the cards as long as she is doing almost everything in the restaurant. When her part of the story opens we find that her head chef is in the process of leaving he during the dinner rush to run off and marry his long time girlfriend. Part of Emily Kate hopes this means the restaurant will close for good so she has a good reason to get back to her painting but as luck would have it this is the exact moment Connor shows up and tells her he can be her new head chef.

This book has many twists and turns you aren't sure what Connor is hiding or what he was running from at the casino. This book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. This is an absolute must read.
